Thursday 6th - The Queens Hall presents Hank Wangford and Reg Meuross - No Hall To Small
This is the third season now of the two songwriters touring as a duo. The performance is folky and intimate, consisting of one-part original songs mostly taken from Hank's new album “Best Foot Forward”. One part original songs from Reg's recent “Short Stories” and his brand new album “Still”. The 3rd part a selection of duets taken from the rich vein of songs produced in America from the 1930's to 50's by Brother acts such as the Louvin Brothers and The Blue Sky Boys. Songs that deal with anything form Religion, Atomic Power, Class prejudice to the inevitable Cheatin' Drinkin' and Divorce. As you'd expect from Hank the show contains plenty of humour, with his “you don't have to make it up…!” look at life, and his firm belief that it is possible to cry and dance at the same time.
Hank and Reg will share their love of the dark heart of Country. They will feature toetappers and tearjerkers with such Divorce-Defying Country near-classics as “He Forgot to tell you he was a Married Man”, “Its me or Elvis”, “While you're Cheatin' on me I'm praying for you” and that old spell-along-a-Gospel favourite, “S-A-V-E-D”. As well as songs both solo and together, there will be stories and poetry from the highway of life.

Saturday 29th - Atomic Blondie + Support
After the success of their show at the Queens Hall last year, they are BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!! Celebrating 31years of Blondie, and their induction into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, do not miss this explosive tribute! No other female fronted band has ever beaten Blondie with their string of hits and run of success! Blondie emerged as the great icons of the late ‘70s new wave punk scene by defying easy categorisation. They scored their first major hits with reggae, rock/disco and hip-hop songs. They wrote great rock hooks and brilliant ironic lyrics. They had the hippest clothes and the coolest hair blonde bombshell Debbie went from the pages of Punk magazine to being on the cover of just about every mainstream publication on the news stands!
Atomic has performed all over the UK and Europe and has also had the pleasure of featuring on tour with the legendary Slade, Showaddywaddy and Roy Wood!! Our ‘Debz' has also had the pleasure of performing for top musician and member of ‘Yes' Rick Wakeman plus an event for the cast of BBC 1's Eastenders. The show features all the classic hits including: Heart of Glass, Sunday Girl, Tide is High, Rapture, Hanging on the Telephone, Denis, Dreaming and many more.
